Two motorcycles have driven together on the E4 near Ljungby in the southbound direction.
Two people have been taken to hospital, and the road was shut down after the accident.
The alarm about the accident came in to the police at 16:47.
Two motorcyclists will then have collided with each other on the E4 near Kånga in Ljungby municipality.
According to information, one motorcycle got some technical problem, after which the other collided with the first, says Rickard Lundqvist, press officer at the police in the south.
Both motorcyclists were taken by ambulance to hospital. However, their injury status is unknown.
After the accident, E4 was closed in the southward direction.
At 18:00, the Swedish Transport Administration announces that the traffic is rolling again, except for a lane that is closed in the southward direction.
