Benjamin Netanyahu is threatened by three prosecutions that could send him to jail, just like his representative, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
Israel's Prime Minister is doing everything to avoid the impending prosecution. Recently, another new election was announced after that in April, and so an attempt was made to cancel it when the opinion numbers collapsed. The next step may well be a war.
Following Israeli politics is like watching the TV drama House of Cards, where the screenwriters are doing their best to continually create new crises around the protagonist's ravenous hunger for power. But the question is whether or not reality is more unpredictable.
The main character of the Israeli drama is Benjamin Netanyahu. For decades he has dominated politics and for the past ten years he has been prime minister. But since the corruption suspicions against Netanyahu have finally become so strong that prosecution seems inevitable, all normal politics have been put on end. Now everything is about the prime minister's own future.
