A fast-paced concert and a smile almost up to the ears, Laleh saved the Lollapaloozapublic in the evening sun.
Laleh's gig at Lollapalooza began with the music journalist Annah Björk stepping up on the stage and reading some lines from her book You must move on, about how a bunch of music creators are waiting for their producer, and will be disappointed when the producer arrives and turns out to be a woman.
Then Laleh came in on a yellow throne, and started Knock knock. The audience cheered on songs like It's easy to forget that the world is ours, and not just the men in suits and their wrestling shoes.
